In-Mould labeling (otherwise known as IML) is a cost effective way of decorating containers and lids. Grafpol supplies either off the reel or a cut&stack labels which are subsequently applied to injection and blow-molded plastic packaging.
In-mold decoration has become a very popular method of product enhancement since it eliminates costs of secondary operations, as it enables the production of decorated and packed containers in a single working step.
IML impresses by the outstanding quality of the decoration, and its high durability due to the resistance to humidity, high/low temperatures. Moreover, IML is environmentally friendly since the packaging and the label consist of the same material and can therefore be fully recycled. |
